Clicking the shutter was the first conscious step I took on my creative path. Before film school, before commercial briefs — it was photography that taught me to see. I received formal training as a photographer even before entering college, and to this day, photography remains an intimate, personal way for me to connect with the world.
Moving images came later — an evolution that felt natural. Film, especially in its spatial or three-dimensional form, became a way to expand that stillness into rhythm, story, and atmosphere. Where photography is about holding onto a moment, cinematography lets it breathe.
Thanks for stopping by. Below is a selection of photographic work that still speaks to where I started — and, in many ways, where I continue to draw inspiration.

纳鞋底 becomes a great opportunity of chatting after works been done in the late afternoon. Nans in the village will take out a bamboo-made chair sitting under their roof and talking to each other. Normally the chats are around their children and the news in the village.
